How the calculation works
Base time = editing hours + included rounds × hours per round. Base labor is the higher of base time × hourly rate or your minimum. Additional rounds are charged once. Rush and discount percentages apply to labor; direct costs are then added. The per-video price is rounded to cents before multiplying by the number of videos. Included revisions are part of the work, not a second charge.

Before you quote.
What should I include in editing hours?
Estimate the work for one finished video, including the editing tasks you agree to deliver. Raw footage length alone is not an estimate of working time. Add time for revisions in the separate revision fields.
What if a client asks for more revisions?
Enter the extra rounds in Additional revision rounds. Agree on the extra scope and price with your client before doing the work.
Does this calculate my taxes or business profit?
No. It estimates a quote from your inputs. The hourly return excludes entered direct costs, but does not deduct your overhead, payment fees or taxes. Set your rate with those costs in mind.
Is my project information uploaded?
No. The calculator runs in your browser. Its inputs are not sent to our server or saved by this page. Reloading resets the example.
Can I buy the spreadsheet or contact order support?
